About the Lab
* こころとそだちの心理学研究室へようこそ *
私の研究室では，子どもの社会情動的スキルとその心理的基盤に着目し，子どもたちの成長・発達・心の健康を支えることを目的とした心理学研究を行っています。
特に，自己肯定感，向社会性・共感性，動機づけ・自己制御という3つの領域を中心に，児童期から成人期に至るまで，これらの心理的特性の発達的特徴やその背景にある心理的メカニズムについて研究しています。
また，研究から得られた知見を，学校教育・教師教育・子育て支援・生涯学習支援などに結び付け，教育実践や社会に還元することを目指しています。
* Welcome to the KoKoRo & SoDaChi Laboratory of Developmental and Educational Psychology *
Our laboratory conducts psychological research focusing on children’s social and emotional skills and their psychological foundations, with the goal of supporting children’s growth and development and promoting their mental well-being.
We focus particularly on three domains: self-esteem; prosociality and empathy; and motivation and self-regulation. We examine the developmental patterns of these psychological characteristics from childhood through adulthood, as well as the psychological mechanisms underlying them.
We also seek to apply the knowledge gained through our research to school education, teacher education, parenting support, and lifelong learning, thereby contributing to educational practice and society more broadly.
